Rwanda’s renowned gospel artiste Israel Mbonyi is in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, where he is expected to perform at the Wakati wa Mungu Festival scheduled for Saturday, December 6, at Leaders Grounds. Mbonyi arrived in the Tanzanian commercial capital on Saturday morning and is expected to join worshippers for Season 4 of the festival, themed “Mungu Ametuhurumia” (God Has Had Mercy on Us). The award-winning singer returns to Tanzania following a successful tour in the country in 2024. He will share the stage with celebrated Tanzanian gospel singer Rehema. His participation in this year’s festival is expected to attract large crowds, as his music continues to resonate deeply with worshippers across East Africa.
