The fairways at Kigali Golf Resort & Villas are set for action once again as the NCBA Golf Series returns this weekend, marking the second edition of NCBA Bank’s flagship tournament in Rwanda and reaffirming the country’s emergence as a rising force in East African golf. At the finale, top qualifiers from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda will compete for the coveted 2025 regional title. Last year’s Rwandan edition saw over 200 players participate, with Paul Ntaganda, Alphonsine Murekatete, and Bethlehem Umuzabibu going on to represent Rwanda at Muthaiga — an achievement that energized the country’s golfing community and highlighted its growing competitive edge.
