Following Rayon’s 3-1 victory over Rutsiro FC on Saturday, October 18, Ferouz stressed the importance of consistency, urging both players and staff to remain united in their pursuit of the league title. There’s no going back, we have to be consistent and win as many matches as possible,” Ferouz said. “We’ve corrected our mistakes and now need to keep the winning spirit alive, from the coaches to the players.” The victory marked Rayon’s first win under Ferouz, who stepped in after head coach Afahmia Lotfi was suspended following a poor run of results. Currently serving in an interim capacity, the Burundian tactician has introduced a fresh approach focused on mental readiness and a possession-based style of play. “Every coach has his own way of managing a match,” Ferouz explained. “I emphasize passing and mental preparation.
