Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye arrived in Kigali on Friday, October 17, for a three-day official visit to Rwanda. He was received at Kigali International Airport by President Paul Kagame. During the visit, the two countries are expected to sign a number of bilateral agreements in various sectors. ALSO READ: Kagame, Senegal president discuss bilateral ties, security President Faye is also expected to visit Irembo, and hold discussions with officials from the Ministry of Sports and Rwanda Development Board (RDB). The two heads of state will later address the media at a joint press briefing. Rwanda and Senegal already have several agreements in place, including a bilateral air services agreement signed on September 8 to enhance air connectivity and boost trade and tourism between the two countries. The two countries also cooperate in the broadcasting sector, with Rwanda Broadcasting Agency (RBA) partnering with Radio Télévision Sénégalaise (RTS).
