Last week, BPR Bank celebrated Customer Excellence Week under the theme “Mission Possible,” a time dedicated to appreciating and valuing customers for their continued trust and partnership. For BPR Bank, Mission Possible is not just a theme for the week, it reflects the ongoing mission as a bank that stands “For People, For Better.” Throughout the week, the bank engaged customers across all segments, reaffirming its commitment to providing exceptional service and strengthening relationships. The celebrations highlighted different facets of customer engagement from “Crowning Forward” with women-led SMEs under the Ikamba Initiative, to “Digital Forward” showcasing the bank's convenient and innovative digital platforms. Under “Inspiring Forward,” the Managing Director hosted customers for a networking session where they shared experiences and testimonials that continue to inspire them to grow. The bank closed the Customer Excellence Week with “Growing Forward.” Across Musanze and Bugarama, its teams engaged with Irish potato and rice cooperatives, appreciating their contribution and strengthening partnership. The bank’s leadership and management team were also on the ground in branches nationwide, directly engaging customers, collecting feedback, and reinforcing the message that customers remain the bank's priority and the reason it strives to do better every day. As part of the ongoing “50 Forward” engagements, the week concluded with a symbolic and heartfelt gesture, honouring the bank's very first customer, Louis Nsengiyumva from Nkamba, Kayonza, by gifting him two cows (Inyana), a traditional symbol of collaboration and sustainable partnership. In addition, BPR Bank recognised Marie Grace Nyinawabayiru, a long-serving staff member who has dedicated 30 years of service to the bank, with a cheque of Rwf2 million as a token of appreciation for her loyalty and invaluable contribution to the bank’s journey. Through Customer Excellence Week, BPR Bank reaffirmed its steadfast commitment to delivering value, nurturing relationships, and transforming today, for people, for better.
