The Burundi Basketball Federation (FEBABU) has announced that Dynamo BBC will not take part in the 2026 “Road to BAL” competition which will commence on October 17. According to FEBABU, the decision follows the club’s failure to meet certain eligibility requirements within the set deadlines including the pending lifting of a suspension imposed by the Basketball Africa League (BAL) after Dynamo’s disqualification from Kalahari Conference in March 2024. ALSO READ: Dynamo out of BAL over Visit Rwanda logo snub As the “Road to BAL” and the Elite 16 serve as qualifying stages for the Basketball Africa League, FEBABU stated that Dynamo’s participation would not produce the intended competitive outcomes for the current season.
