Musician The Ben has reached a major milestone as his album “Plenty Love” reached 5 million plays on Audiomack, making him the first Rwandan artist to hit that number—and in a short period of time. The album, released in January 2025, continues to gain traction across streaming platforms, showcasing The Ben’s enduring influence in the region’s music scene. Among the most streamed songs are fan favorites ‘True Love’, ‘Baby’ ft Marioo, and ‘Nana’, which have helped propel the album’s popularity. Speaking to The New Times, The Ben described the achievement as a shared victory for all local artists. “It’s a win for every artist,” he said. “It shows that our people are rocking with us on different platforms, not just on YouTube.” Following the album’s success, The Ben went on a world tour to promote Plenty Love, where he received overwhelming support from fans across continents. The enthusiastic turnout and love from audiences further defined his reputation as one of Rwanda’s most celebrated and internationally recognized artists.
