Before signing Mohammed, Kepler VC made key adjustments to its coaching staff by appointing Cameroonian tactician Jean Patrice Ndaki Mboulet on a two-year contract after his departure from Rwanda Energy Group (REG). The club will also welcome back David Evarist Neeke, who is returning after a season-long spell on the sidelines. Mohammed now joins Neeke, Cedrick Kageruka, and Romeo Ngabo Rwamuhizi (currently recovering from surgery) as the team’s fourth receiver-attacker. Together with the rest of the squad, they carry a mission to restore Kepler’s glory after finishing fourth in the 2023/24 season, narrowly losing to REG VC in a decisive tie-breaker.
