Rwanda has officially welcomed Bellazuri Cosmetics, a fast-growing African beauty brand, with its launch event held at The Retreat in Kiyovu on Friday, October 3. Co-founded by René and Guiliano Stiegelmann in Uganda, Bellazuri combines advanced German technology with African expertise to deliver affordable, high-quality skincare and cosmetics tailored to African skin types. The brand promises safe, effective, and luxurious beauty solutions enriched with plant extracts to nourish the skin while delivering visible, long-lasting results. Cynthia Uwineza, the brand ambassador of Bellazuri in Rwanda, highlighted that although many brands exist, few are created with African skin in mind, and Bellazuri aims to fill that gap with safe, non-toxic products. “All our products are made from natural ingredients such as castor oil, shea butter, and avocado oil. We are now having a brand finally for us, made for our African skin. Bellazuri is here to bring you the best products affordable, non-toxic, and designed especially for us,” said Uwineza. Bellazuri is already present in several African markets, including Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Guinea, with further reach into Colombia and the United States. The expansion into Rwanda is part of the company’s strategy to grow rapidly across the continent while positioning itself as a leader in inclusive beauty. Speaking at the launch of, company founder René Stiegelmann emphasised the brand’s mission to provide safe, high-quality cosmetics designed exclusively for African skin. “Rwanda is a very important market for us because people here understand the quality we bring,” she said. “One advantage of our products is that we make sure they are available and affordable, while still being first-class quality.
