Popular Rwandan gospel music couple, Papi Clever Tuyizere and Dorcas Ingabire, just announced second music tour in the United States The tour will run from September 20 through October 19, and is set to make stops in five states including Arizona, Washington, Indianapolis, and Texas. ALSO READ: Rwandan gospel singer Gogo Gloriose dies in Kampala Speaking to The New Times, Papi Clever said that this tour will focus on concerts for their US audience, unlike the previous one which centered more on visiting churches and ministering. “This is actually our second tour in the United States, but it’s very different from the first one. The first time, our focus was mainly on visiting churches and ministering in those spaces,” Papi Clever said, “This time around, we’re bringing something new—dedicated concerts designed specifically for our audience in the U.S. We want to create a full concert experience, where people can not only worship but also enjoy the music in a bigger way, with a fresh energy and atmosphere,” he added. The tour will open on September 20 in Dallas, Texas, and Austin on 21 in the same state, followed by a performance in Austin on September 21 and another in Seattle, Washington, on September 27. The couple will then perform in Phoenix and Arizona on October 5, and in Indianapolis, and in Colorado, Denver on October 19. Everything I do is about pointing back to him because I believe He’s the source of true salvation. At the same time, we want to give people music they genuinely enjoy, songs that speak to their hearts, lift their spirits, and connect them with the Holy Spirit,” Papi Clever shared the message driving the tour. Renowned for their captivating stagecraft and uplifting voices, the duo has touched countless hearts with songs such as ‘Hari icyo nkwaka,’ ‘Impamvu z’Ibifatika,’ ‘Ndusheho Kukwegera Mukiza,’ and ‘Mana Nk’uko Wafashaga.’ Married in 2019, Papi Clever and Dorcas have four children together. Tresor Zikama, the rising gospel singer and pianist behind hit song ‘Ni Muzima’, will be a guest performer at the Indianapolis concert.
