Tuesday fixtures Girls Rwanda vs Tanzania (1:30pm) Boys Rwanda vs Angola (7PM) Venue: Petit Stade Gymnasium Rwanda’s boys team tip off their U16 Afrobasket 2025 campaign at home on Tuesday against Angola in Group A opener at Petit Stade Gymnasium. The game is scheduled at 7pm. The competition, which also serves as a qualifier for the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup 2026, brought together 23 national teams in both boys and girls categories. Each team will play three games during the group phase before the tournament enters its elimination round. Meanwhile, the girls’ tournament attracted 11 teams which were split into three groups of four, except Group A which includes hosts Rwanda, Tunisia and Tanzania. Rwanda begins their group stage journey against Tanzania. The match tips off at 1:30pm at Petit Stade. Full group draw Group A: Rwanda, Tunisia and Tanzania Group B: Mali, Angola, Guinea and Côte d'Ivoire. Group C: Egypt, Morocco, Cameroon and Uganda Except for Group A, each team is scheduled to play three games during the Group Phase before the tournament enters its elimination round.
