Tour de France Femmes 2025 and Olympic mountain bike champion Pauline Ferrand-Prévot has confirmed her participation in the 2025 UCI Road World Championships due in Kigali from September 21-28. The French rider revealed that she had already made the decision to race in the World Championship in Kigali early in the season for what she described as “simple reason” that, “even though last year marked the beginning of my return to road racing, I came out of the Olympic period physically and mentally exhausted.” “I clearly didn’t want to relive that moment or ask for extra effort from an already tired body,” the 33-year-old rider said in an Instagram post on Wednesday, August 27.
