The Water and Sanitation Corporation (WASAC) Group has announced that four sectors in Rubavu District are facing water supply interruption following heavy rainfall that affected the Gihira water treatment plant. The water utility company added that efforts are underway to resolve the issue and restore the water supply. “We are working on the issue to ensure that the plant resumes operations as soon as possible. We apologise for the inconvenience,” the statement read.
