SKOL Brewery Ltd. and Rayon Sports FC have announced the return of Rayon Week, a much anticipated two-week celebration that has become a premier football and entertainment experience in the country. According to the organisers, this year's edition promises to be bigger and better, “bringing the excitement of Rwanda's most beloved football club directly to fans nationwide” ahead of the new season. The festivities will feature an extensive line-up of activities aimed at engaging fans from every corner of Rwanda. The club will play friendly matches in Nyanza, Ngoma, and Rubavu on August 1st, 6th, and 9th respectively, featuring live entertainment as well. Iconic figures in Rwanda’s entertainment industry like DJ Anita Pendo, DJ Bisoso, Kenny Sol, and ZEO Trap will grace the events and deliver performances to the fans. A plethora of fan engagement activities are also lined-up, including the launch of the new Rayon Sports jerseys, interactive bar activations across all provinces, and daily online giveaways and contests via @SkolLager_Rayon Instagram page. Prizes will range from limited-edition Rayon Sports jerseys match tickets to SKOL merchandise. Rayon Day 2025 will continue to represent the long-standing partnership between SKOL and Rayon Sports FC, demonstrating the two entities’ shared commitment to bringing joy, excitement, and unforgettable experiences to Rayon Sport FC fans. The Grand Finale: Rayon Day On August 15, the celebration will culminate in the traditional Rayon Day match featuring a highly anticipated friendly match between Rayon Sports FC and Young Africans SC at Amahoro Stadium. Speaking at the launch of Rayon Week 2025, the club’s president Thaddée Twagirayezu expressed gratitude to SKOL for its support through the years, as he promised the fans that the team will be even stronger next season. “We are bringing in talented players.
