Ambassador Christophe Bazivamo presented his letters of credence to the President of Niger, Gen Abdourahamane Tiani, officially accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Rwanda to West African country. Bazivamo presented the letters to the president on July 15, following an earlier diplomatic engagement with Niger’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Nigeriens Abroad, Bakary Yaou Sangare, on July 14, during which he presented copies of his credentials, in line with diplomatic protocol. Bazivamo also serves as Rwanda’s High Commissioner to neighbouring Nigeria, with residence in Abuja. Appointed as ambassador in December 2023, Bazivamo is also accredited to Burkina Faso and Chad.
