Midfielder Maxwell Arthur is close to joining Mukura Victory Sports as the Huye-based club hopes to add more quality to its squad. Arthur, 24, is a former vice-captain of Ghana U20 national team and, at club level, he captained Dreams FC. He was previously courted by Finnish side RoPS FC but the deal fell through. He became a free agent after his contract with Aduana Stars expired last season. Elsewhere, winger Samuel Pimpong has returned to Mukura Victory Sports on a one-year deal after ending his short stint with Albanian outfit FC Shiroka.
