President Paul Kagame on Tuesday, July 1, met with the Prime Minister of Niger, Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine, at Village Urugwiro. 'They discussed key continental priorities and ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation for the benefit of the people of Rwanda and Niger, the Office of the President said in a post on X. Rwanda thinks so Earlier in the day, the Nigerien premier attended the Nuclear Energy Innovation Summit, which brought together policymakers, scientists, and industry leaders to discuss the role of advanced nuclear technologies in addressing the continent’s energy needs. Among those in attendance at the summit is Rafael Mariano Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), who also met with President Kagame on Tuesday.
