One of Uganda’s most recognizable entertainment personalities, DJ Lynda Ddane, touched down in Kigali on Friday morning ahead of her headline set at the East Africa Connect event, a cross-border music showcase spotlighting both rising and established talent. Best known for her presence on Ugandan TV and radio, DJ Lynda is slated to perform Friday night at Riders Lounge alongside local favorites DJ Virus, DJ Nob, and DJ Karet. The free-entry event marks the start of a weekend designed to foster creative exchange across East Africa’s burgeoning music scene. I’m ready to give my best and celebrate with you all ahead of the long weekend.” Since starting her media career in 2018, Lynda has become a household name, hosting music programs on Urban TV, UBC, and later NTV Uganda, where her shows The Beat and Dance Party gained a devoted following.
