APR FC have on Monday, June 23, announced the return star defender Fitina Omborenga after just one season with Rayon Sports. The Rwanda international left APR FC in July 2024 to sign for arch rivals Rayon Sports on a two-year deal. He, however, requested the Blues to terming the contract before the end of his debut season, accusing the club of failure to honour his contract. He re-signed for the army side for a reported two-year deal and the club believes he is “back home to finish the job” he left unfinished. “Omborenga is back to write a chapter that’s been waiting for him. This isn’t just a comeback. This is destiny,” the club said in a statement confirming his return on Monday, June 23.
