Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea have told APR to pay a whopping $100,000 (more than Rwf 145 million) to secure the services of their skipper Stephen Amankona. The versatile forward, who won the Ghana Premier League top scorer award twice in a row (2023/24) and (2024/25), is also being courted by Tanzania’s Yanga SC and Simba, South Africa’s Kaizer Chiefs and Egyptian side Ismaily. Elsewhere, coach Armel Amoro has agreed to coach newly promoted Rwandan second tier side Espoir in the coming 2025/26 season. The Burundian tactician qualified Gicumbi to the Rwanda Premier League and his task now is to achieve same feat with Espoir. Meanwhile, striker Moro Sumaila is expected to join Gicumbi FC, hoping to boost add more bite to their attacking department after seeing off his contract with Rubavu-based Etincelles FC. Lastly, Abedi Bigirimana has emerged as a transfer target of Rayon Sports following the expiration of his contract at Police FC. The player, reports indicate, wants Rwf 40 million as signing on fee if he is to sign for the Blues.
