APR FC on Sunday, June 22, announced the signing of Burkinabe midfielder Raouf Merel Dao on a two-year deal. The 21-year-old was linked to a move to Tanzania’s Singida Big Stars but was later convinced to join the Rwandan champions who will be playing the CSF Champions League nexy season. Raouf Merel Dao, arrived at AS Sonabel from Kadiogo in 2024 and he had a good season of 2024-2025, contributing five goals and three assists in 29 games, a performance that saw him named player of the season in Burkina Faso. He also plays for the Burkina Faso national team. APR FC also unveiled midfielder Pacifique Ngabonziza who joined from Police FC on a two-year deal. Habineza linked to Midtjylland FC move Bugesera FC goalkeeper François Habineza is set to join Danish side Midtjylland FC. The Rwandan shot stopper is expected to arrive in the Denmark on Wednesday, June 25, to sign a contract. Times Sport understands that Midtjylland agreed to pay Bugesera FC $50,000 ( approx Rwf 72 million) for the transfer. Midtjylland have won four league titles and three national cup in Denmark. They will play in the UEFA Europa League next season, where they will face Hibernian FC from Scotland in the second qualifying round. Habineza, who is one of the promising players in Rwanda, had been linked with a move to APR FC and Police FC but he turned down the pair’s offers after Midtjylland enquired his services with a bigger offer on the table. He arrived at Bugesera FC in July 2024 from Etoile de l'Est, and he has been selected to the senior national team squad.
