Rwanda forward Axel Mpoyo has admitted that the team has been drawn into a tough group in AfroBasket 2025 finals but insisted that the team will stay focused and aim for victory. AfroBasket 2025 finals will take place in Angola from August 12–24. Cheikh Sarr’s side was drawn into Group A alongside Côte d’Ivoire, Cape Verde, and DR Congo—an undeniably competitive pool, according to Mpoyo.
