Speaking ahead of the match, Nzeyurwanda expressed belief in their ability to finish strong. “We can finish among the top six teams if we manage to win two games and draw one. That would be a big improvement,” the shot-stopper said. Kiyovu, one of Rwanda’s oldest football clubs, has not lifted the league title since 1993. They currently sit in 10th place with 34 points. A win over Rutsiro would take them to eighth with 37 points. In his last nine league matches, he has guided the team to seven wins, one draw, and just one loss, scoring 11 goals and conceding only five.
