The future of Rayon Sports head coach Robertinho Oliveira will be determined by the top hierarchy of the club when he finished his suspension at the end of the season, Times Sport has learnt. The Brazilian tactician was suspended by his employers on April 14 due to unimpressive performances where Rayon won just twice in 10 games in all competitions. Claude Rwaka, who had then recently been appointed as his assistant, took over the reins and, despite initial concerns whether he would fill in the Brazilian veteran’s shoes, he powered Rayon Sports back to the top of the table. However, Sunday’s 2-0 defeat at the hands of domestic rivals, APR FC in the Peace Cup final raised questions over his maturity and experience in coaching big clubs just like Robertinho. The Peace Cup loss to has sparked a bit of tension in the Rayon Sports board as some of the prominent members want Robertinho back. Times Sport can confirm that a crunch meeting will be held with Robertinho in June after which they will decide his future.
