Sunday, May 4 AS Muhanga vs La Jeunesse FC (Muhanga Stadium) Étoile de l’Est FC vs Gicumbi FC (Ngoma Stadium) Gicumbi FC striker Jean Pierre Rubogoza expressed his excitement after helping his side return to the top division. Rubogoza was on target in the 85th minute in his side’s 2-0 victory over La Jeunesse which earned them a ticket back to the Rwanda Premier League. I am happy to be part of it, we have been fighting from the first day of the league and now we can enjoy the moment,” Rubogoza told Times Sport. “We have also reached to the final so we need to win the title. We want to finish the league in high spirit. We have another game so we need to make sure that we don’t lose it. It is a competition and we are taking every game seriously,” he added. ALSO READ: Gicumbi FC return to Rwanda Premier League However, his head coach Amrani ‘Amoro’ Hatungimana said that he is happy with his players who showed character in this process of fighting to returned top division. “My players have showed the fighting spirit in this campaign. I am happy for them and let’s keep the same spirit until the end of the league,” he added. On the final day, AS Muhanga will host La Jeunesse FC at Muhanga Stadium while Étoile de l’Est FC take on Gicumbi FC at Ngoma Stadium.
