Dr Gahongayire says this can be good for people with dry, sun-worn facial skin to have some of the top layers of skin removed to make way for a clear-looking new skin formation. For this reason, watch what you eat. Getting enough sleep is also essential as studies indicate that while you are sleeping, the body has repair mechanisms that swing into action. Not getting enough sleep puts stress on the body, causing it to release more adrenaline which can generate breakouts and other skin problems. Exercising, drinking lots of water, protecting your skin from too much sunshine as well as avoiding stress are among other lifestyle changes that can help rejuvenate the skin.
