Bugesera FC head coach Francis Haringingo has stepped down from his role despite having seven months left on his existing contract, a source from the club confirmed to Times Sport on Monday. The Burundian trainer joined Bugesera FC in November 2023 replacing Eric Nshimiyimana. He rescued the club from being relegated from the Rwanda Premier League and also guided them to the 2023/24 Peace Cup final. ALSO READ: Bizimana strikes late as Bugesera FC holds Police in Kigali However, the Nyamata-based has again had had a poor campaign this season, primarily due to financial constraints as well as alleged poor player attitude. They now find themselves on the brink of relegation as they currently sit in 15th place with 24 points. Bugesera lost 4-2 to Rutsiro FC on Sunday despite taking a 2-0 lead. The results didn't go down with head coach Haringingo who resigned from his post alongside assistant coach Pablo Nduwimana. The team will face Marines FC in Nyamata this weekend on match day 25 of the Rwanda Premier League.
