The Rwanda FA’s Appeals Committee has rejected Rayon Sports' appeal against decision to replay their Peace Cup semifinal first leg match against Mukura Victory Sports The pair’s match was initially played on April 16 at Huye Stadium but was later called off in the 27th minute due to power outage. The federation’s competitions committee had ruled that the match would be replayed but the Blues on April 17 appealed the decision, insisting that they weren’t ready for replay and instead deserved the 3 points. Again, the committee stressed that Rayon Sports putting the blame on Mukura Victory Sports for the Power outage were not accepted because they were made without the supervision of the commissioner or an expert assigned by FERWAFA.
