We must reaffirm our unwavering support for genocide survivors. Many still bear deep emotional and physical scars, struggling with trauma, financial hardship, and the loss of family members. Let us extend a hand of solidarity to them—not just through words, but through tangible actions. Whether it is offering emotional support, contributing to survivor assistance programs, or advocating for policies that improve their livelihoods, each of us has a role to play in ensuring they do not walk this journey alone. Despite the progress our nation has made, dangerous narratives that seek to distort history and deny the genocide continue to spread. Kwibuka is not just about memory—it is about resilience, about commitment to a future where all Rwandans stand together in unity and reconciliation. As we reflect, let us renew our dedication to justice, truth, and the dignity of all. The best way to honor the victims is by ensuring that Never Again is not just a phrase, but a lived reality.
