Not the result we wanted, says Nshimiyimana after Lesotho draw

Rwanda assistant coach Eric Nshimiyimana has said that Tuesday’s draw against Lesotho in Kigali wasn’t the result their wanted as they looked to put Nigeria loss behind with a win over the Southern African side. Lesotho held Rwanda to a 1-1 draw after midfielder Lehlohonolo Fothoane came from the bench to score a late equalizer after Jojea Kwizera had put the hosts ahead in the 58th minute. Nshimiyimana admits the results wasn’t what they wanted but quickly urged the players to stay put and strive to improve the performance when the next round of games take place in September.
