As part of its ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, SKOL Brewery Ltd has reaffirmed its dedication to community well-being by supporting the Community-Based Health Insurance programme, Mutuelle de Santé. A handover ceremony was held in the presence of Nyarugenge District authorities and community members. For the 2024-25 period, SKOL Brewery Ltd has covered health insurance costs for 777 people, reinforcing its mission to improve access to healthcare. Over the past five years, the brewery has provided health coverage to over 4,000 individuals, ensuring families in need receive essential medical services. Beyond healthcare, SKOL Brewery Ltd remains committed to sustainable community development through initiatives such as: · Employing over 60% of its workforce from the local community. · Providing educational materials to Nzove Primary School. Additionally, the brewery contributes to broader national development efforts, including: · A scholarship programme under the patronage of Maïté Relecom for children of SBL employees. · Financial aid for communities affected by natural disasters. · FXB Village, an empowerment programme for vulnerable families. · Sports development initiatives and other community-driven programmes.
