Overall, 11 goals were scored with APR vs Rayon and Musanze vs Bugesera being the only fixtures which ended goalless. There was no away win as all the home teams won their respective matches. Times Sport brings to you 5 takeaways from match day 20. Muhire runs the show against APR Kevin Muhire showed why he is arguably the best player in the league...the darling boy of Rayon fans. Against APR on Sunday, Muhire was unplayable as he tormented the APR players for 90 minutes. They couldn't get the ball from him unless he was fouled. The Rayon skipper earned admiration from APR coach Darko Novic who described him as the best player on the field in his post-match press conference and his own coach Robertinho also praised him for a good job done. Muhire really came to the party and showed why he is a big player in the domestic league. Kiyovu also came from behind to beat Marines FC 2-1, a result that saw them closing the point gap with Musanze to just one point. The Green Baggies have 18 points while Vision FC are still last with 15 points but just 4 points adrift of the safety zone. Now, pressure mounts on Musanze FC who are 14th with 19 points. Marines FC, who are 13th with 22 points as well as Muhazi United and Amagaju FC, both at 23 points, aren’t safe either. Kiyovu Sports will travel to Ubworoherane Stadium to face Musanze in week 21 in a game which could change the table in or against their favor. Meanwhile, Vision FC will also visit Etincelles at Umuganda Stadium. The outcome of the two games will be very crucial for the three teams whose fate in the top tier league remains in undecided with 10 games to play. Novic needs a constant first 11 APR struggled for most part of the game against Rayon Sports and they were even lucky to go unscathed. The club’s main problem has to be with consistency. With 20 games played so far this campaign, Darko Novic doesn't have a first 11 yet as he keeps rotating players which is not doing him a favour at all. Ramadhan Niyibizi, Seidu Dauda, Lamine Bah and others have been in and out of the first 11 and it doesn't help in team building. Novic must have a constant first 11 if he wants his team to excel. Mukura vs Gorilla match rained off Mukura Victory Sports vs Gorilla was arguably the second biggest game over the weekend aside from the APR vs Rayon encounter. The game was keenly contested with Mukura taking a 41st minute lead through left-wing back Zuberi Hakizimana before the game was rained off in the 60th minute, prompting referee Hicham Akingeneye to postpone the match to Monday. The Black and Yellow side continued where they stopped on Sunday, March 9, as Boateng Mensah scored a superb goal in the 64th minute to make it 2-0 and record a win which pushed them to the 5th place with 30 points.
