Eritrean Nahom Araya (Eritrean National Team) won stage 6 of the Tour du Rwanda, completing the 131.5km dustance from Nyanza to Canal Olympia (Rebero) in 3 hours, 9 minutes, and 23 seconds on Saturday, March 1. Rwandan rider Moise Mugisha led the peloton in the final 3 km, but Araya overtook him with 10 seconds to spare. Mugisha finished sixth in the stage. Frenchman Fabien Doubey (TotalEnergies) reclaimed the yellow jersey from teammate Joris Delbove, to whom he lost it in Stage 4 from Rubavu to Karongi. The Eritrean national team returned to the podium after Henok Mulubrhan's Stage 1 victory. Mulubrhan now sits third in the general classification.
