Fight Like a Girl Starring Malaika Uwamahoro and Arthur Nkusi, this 2023 film follows a young Congolese woman who is forced to work in an illegal mineral mine. After escaping her captors, she reinvents herself as a professional boxer, fighting not just in the ring but also for a new life. The film is inspired by true events. Black This 2009 film stars Belgian-Rwandan actress Carole Karemera. It tells the story of Black, a young man who escapes a dangerous situation during a heist.
