Rwanda striker Jeanine Mukandayisenga will miss the first leg of the Women’s AFCON 2026 qualifier against Egypt in Kigali on Friday. Women’s national team head coach Andre Casa Mbungo said his team will be without the Yanga Princess star during the encounter as he continues to battle an unspecified illness. Sjhe could, however, play the second leg in Cairo if her recovery goes according to plan.
