Al Ahli Tripoli defender Thierry Manzi was back to action in the Libyan Premier League on Wednesday, February 19, after two months on the sidelines. The Rwanda international last played for Al Ahli on December 30, 2024 during their 2-0 win over Al Medina and he has since not featured for the club after picking up knee injury. Manzi had full 90 minutes for action on his return against El Ettihad Misrati on Wednesday, February 19, the pair played a goalless draw in the league. The Rwanda captain was thrown into the fray by coach Didier Da Rosa in the 46th minute replacing Tareq Ebshara in the crunch encounter. Al Ahli are leading the Libyan Premier League with 31 points from 11 games.
