Rwanda Energy Group (REG) put Friday’s loss to APR Behind to triumph over Gisagara VC in four sets 25-23, 25-27, 25-21, 25-14) on Sunday, February 16th, at Petit Stade Indoor Gymnasium. The electricians started strong and took the first set 25-23 but Gisagara VC responded in the second set and claimed it 27-25. REG regrouped and regained their composure in the third set, capitalizing on Gisagara VC's errors to secure a 25-21 win. The fourth set proved to be another exciting battle, but REG ultimately prevailed, closing out the match with a 25-24 victory. In other matches, APR VC dominated East African University (EAUR) in three sets (25-14, 25-21, 27-25). The result deepened EAUR's struggles as they finished Round 10 of the national volleyball league without a single win. ALSO READ: Kepler avoid EAUR upset to keep winning form Elsewhere, Kigali Volleyball Club (KVC) put up a powerful fight against Police VC but the latter eventually prevailed, winning the match on a tiebreak after five sets. Police took the first set 25-17 but KVC rallied to win the second and 25-18 and the third 25-21. Police VC were on the brink of losing the match but they regained momentum to take the fourth set 18-25 to even the game to two sets apiece, forcing the match to the tiebreak which they went on win 15-7. KVC earned one point from the match but they are still rocket at the bottom of the table standings with two point. In women's matches, Wisdom defeated RP Huye 3-1 (25-14, 15-25, 25-11, 25-15) while Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) closed out Round 10 with a 3-1 victory over Ruhango VC (25-11, 20-25, 25-19, 25-11).
