President Paul Kagame and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres met on Friday, February 14, for a discussion on the productive partnership between Rwanda and the global organisation. In their meeting held in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa, the two leaders also exchanged on the need for a political solution to the security situation in DR Congo with accountability for all parties involved. “The President reiterated Rwanda’s commitment to a peaceful resolution, that must take into account the urgent need for a durable solution for Rwanda’s security concerns,” Village Urugwiro said in a statement.
