A delegation from the Federation of Saudi Chamber of Commerce (FSC) arrived in Rwanda on Wednesday, February 12, to explore investment prospects and strengthen economic ties between the two nations. The delegation, led by the federation’s president Hassan Alhwaizy, is expected to meet government officials and private sector representatives to discuss potential areas of collaboration. Stephen Ruzibiza, CEO of the Private Sector Federation (PSF), emphasised the country’s vast business potential, stating that “Rwanda is a country with immense business opportunities that any potential and interested business person can invest in and have a return on business.” Ruzibiza told The New Times that they have encouraged the visiting investors to invest in agriculture, real estate, light manufacturing, and tourism. “Their visit cements the already existing good relationship between the two countries. It further creates confidence in our business members in doing business with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA),” he added. During their visit, the PSF signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Federation of Saudi Chamber of Commerce that is aimed at facilitating both members to conduct business.
