Rwandan musician Bwiza has been announced as the second artist to perform during the Move Afrika tour, scheduled for February 21 at BK Arena in Kigali. She and DJ Toxxyk join multi-award-winning American artiste and producer John Legend, who was previously announced as the main headliner for the event. “I’m excited to be joining Global Citizen and performing at Move Afrika at the BK Arena in Kigali on February 21. After Kigali, the 2025 Move Africa tour will head to Lagos, Nigeria, as part of its efforts to expand the initiative to West Africa. Bwiza’s Move Africa performance comes just weeks before the launch of her second album, 25 Shades, in a concert which will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on March 8. The singer rose to fame as the winner of The Next Diva music contest, a platform introduced by KIKAC Music in 2021 to discover and promote young female artists. She triumphed over 30 other contestants and was subsequently signed under the management of KIKAC Music, which is led by Jean Claude Uhujimfura.
