Musanze FC head coach Sosthene Habimana has hailed his players for showing persistence during their hard-fought 2-2 draw against league leaders Rayon Sports at Kigali Pele Stadium on Sunday. Habimana's charges twice came from behind to hold the Blues to a 2-2 draw with Johnson Adeshola Adeaga coming from the bench to snatch a late equalizer for the visitors in the 90th minute. Habimana praised the mindset of his players who he said showed maturity during the game. My players came from behind twice against Rayon and this shows that they have good mentality. The instructions that I gave my players were all about not giving Rayon Sports a chance to play especially from defense and we must do high blocking. Rayon’s energy was in midfield with Richard Ndayishimiye, Olivier Niyonzima and Kevin Muhire and we managed to deal with them,” he explained. The experienced gaffer further mentioned that the draw against Rayon will be a good morale booster for his team whose point from the result moved them to 11th place on the table with 17 points. I think this result is a going to push us to advance in subsequent games. We have to think of ourselves and always have a winning mentality, he said.
