Police VC avoid a possible upset from Gisagara VC and overcame them in four sets (25-22,25-22,14-25,25-20) in an intense game held at Petit Stade indoor gymnasium on Saturday, February 8. Fred Musoni’s side has been in fine form but Gisagara, coached by Joseph Ndahiro, were eager to beat the odds and stop them at any cost. However, Police remained a tough customer before the Southern Province-based side, going on to claim the opening set 25-22. Despite Gisagara trying hard in the second set to even the scores, Musoni filled his six men in the court with both outside hitters Bettim Matheus and K Elphas Makuto, leading the charge, hence winning the set 25-22 to lead the game with a 2-0 set lead.
