It was a fair weekend for Rwandan football players abroad as a number of them had game time with their clubs and made good impact. For instance, striker Innocent Nshuti registered an assist for his club Sabail FC in Azerbaijan, while winger Louange Muhire also netted for KVK Ninove in Belgium. Azerbaijan Striker Innocent Nshuti made his first start for Sabail FK and it was a good outing for him as he assisted Guinea Bissau forward Madi Oueta to score in the 11th minute. The goal was enough for Sabail FK to win the match 1-0 against Kapaz. Nshuti played for 80 minutes before being substituted for Oruc Mamadov. In the same country, Ange Mutsinzi was introduced in the 77th minute as his team Zira FK beat Shamakai 2-1 on Friday, January 27. Zira have moved to third position with 36 points from 20 games. Beerschot’s midfielder Faisal Al Ghamdi got a red card before the half hour mark which meant that the team played 67 minutes with 10 men. In the Belgian second tier, Samuel Gueulette featured for 88 minutes for his club Raal La Louviere as it was beaten 2-1 by Club NXT. In the third tier, winger Louange Muhire scored in the 80th minute and played full 90 minutes as KVK Ninove beat Club Brugge B 2-1. It was Muhire's fourth goal in two consecutive games. France In the French second tier, Joel Mvuka Mugisha played 71 minutes for Lorient FC as they beat Clermont Foot 3-2. He later was substituted for Greek international Panos Katseris in the 71st minute. Saudi Arabia Defensive midfielder Steve Rubanguka was in action for Al Nojoom as they lost 1-0 to Alhorwa in the Saudi Arabia second tier. In the Saudi third league, striker Yves Mugunga played for his club Al Selmiyah as it lost 2-0 to Afif. Kenya In the Kenyan Premier League, Arthur Gitego played full time for AFC Leopards as they drew 1-1 with Murang'a SEAL. South Africa In South Africa, goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari was not in the match day squad for Kaizer Chiefs as they beat Free Agents FC 4-0 to qualify to the round of 16 of the Nedbank Cup.
