Rayon Sports is faced with a financial crisis, with players and staff reportedly owed over Rwf70 million in wages and signing fees. In a media interview, club president Thaddée Twagirayezu admitted that the issue exists and noted that it started earlier during previous managements. The club’s recent player purchases demanded a payment of Rwf138 million. So far, Rayon Sports has paid Rwf68 million and is working on solutions to pay the remaining balance.
