Vision FC head coach Abdul Mbarushimana says they have prepared well for the second round of the 2024/25 Rwanda Premier League and will fight to maintain their top flight status. The experienced coach hinted that the 3-0 win over Musanze FC in week 15 has edged them closer to the safety zone and they will build on that in the second round. We concluded the first round on a winning note though we are still in the relegation zone. The victory over Musanze has made our points increase and we are not far from safety. The gap is not so big. Mbarushimana said in a media interview. We have added new elements that can help us in the second round. Usually, the second round is more difficult than the first round. My players are getting used to the top tier competition,” he noted. Among the new players that have joined the club is Musa Esenu, 29, a Ugandan striker who previously featured for Rayon Sports. Vision FC who are among the two newly promoted teams are 15th on the league table with 12 points from 15 games. They will host Gorilla FC in a local derby at Kigali Pele Stadium on February 7 when the second round of the season begins.
