Two men died in an accident that occurred at midnight on January 21, in Nyabugogo Cell, Kigali Sector, in Nyarugenge District. SP Emmanuel Kayigi, the Traffic Police Spokesperson, told The New Times that the accident involved a taxi-moto rider and a male passenger who were en route from Nyabugogo to the Ruliba area. They rammed into a truck parked by the roadside due to a mechanical default. According to the police, the accident was caused by the rider's recklessness and failure to adjust speed in time. Kayigi urged motorists and road users to always exercise caution, as accidents happen unexpectedly.
