I&M Bank (Rwanda) Plc expanded its Ryoshya Iwawe campaign on Friday, January 17, by partnering with Smart Retails – Danube Home, providing customers with the chance to furnish their homes with stylish, high-quality furniture. This partnership builds on the bank’s previous collaboration with Hotpoint, which focused on financing home appliances such as refrigerators, TVs, speakers, coffee makers, and more. Yves Kayihura, Head of Retail Banking at I&M Bank, emphasised that the partnership with Danube Home aims to help customers acquire essential home items at an affordable cost. “Through this product, we are offering Rwf5 million at 0% interest, and we’re open to reviewing this amount in the future to better meet our clients’ needs. This is just one of the many benefits of banking with I&M Bank,” Kayihura said. Customers simply visit the store, select their desired appliance, and fill out a loan application form. The form is then submitted to the nearest I&M Bank branch. Loan approval is typically granted within 24 hours, allowing customers to quickly collect their desired items.
