Held at the fully packed BK Arena on Christmas Day, Israel Mbonyi’s sold-out Icyambu Live Concert Season III was truly an event to remember. The concert attracted over 10,000 attendees, with a total of 10,367 tickets sold. Among the dignitaries in attendance was Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Olivier Nduhungirehe. According to the organizers, the concert was attended by the diverse audience included fans from neighboring Uganda, families, and both gospel and secular musicians. The event kicked off at 7 p.m. with a prayer and hymns led by MC Yvan Ngenzi, setting a festive Christmas atmosphere. Mbonyi took the stage at around 7:30 p.m., opening with his hit song “Nina Siri,” which had the crowd singing along. His performance also featured several popular tracks, including “Nzi Ibyonibwira,” “Asante,” and many more. Songs like “Yaratwimanye,” “Number One,” “Yeriko,” “Hari Ubuzima,” and “Ndi Ubuhamya Bugenda” created an electrifying atmosphere inside the arena.
