British multi-award-winning international producer, curator and disc jockey, DJames, famously known for his YouTube Apartment sets, has been confirmed as the main headliner of YinYang slated for November 30 at Mundi Center. Organized by Blackout, which is best known for throwing the biggest parties in the country, YinYang will feature performances by other established musicians including Uganda’s DJ Spinny, Toxxyk, DJ Trick, DJ June and DJ Lamper among others. In 2019, he was selected from hundreds of online entrants to compete in the national final of the world’s biggest DJ competition. A panel of former World Champions chose DJames based on his originality, technical ability, and reading of the crowd to crown him the new Red Bull 3Style UK Champion. While his sound is heavily influenced by AfroBeats, Dancehall and Soca, it is his ability to seamlessly transition between so many genres that has caught the attention of the likes of Drake, The Weekend, Burna Boy, Asake, Chris Brown, Stefflon Don and Sean Kingston, all of whom he has joined on their UK tours to play sold out shows.
