CFA Society East Africa, the regional association of investment professionals in East Africa, is delighted to announce the opening of a new test center in Kigali, providing easier access to CFA Program candidates in the region to complete their exams. The center started taking registrations on 10th May 2022 for the February 2023 administration of exams. “We have heard from many of our candidates about the difficulties involved in having to travel out of the country to write their CFA exams. We have taken this feedback on board and worked with CFA Institute to open a new exam center in Kigali” said Gilbert Twinamasiko, the Rwandan representative on the board of CFA Society East Africa. “In addition to Nairobi, our candidates now have the chance to sit for their exams in Kigali and enjoy the benefits of convenience and huge savings on cost and time. No better time than this, when Kigali is positioning itself as a top financial hub in the continent, to have its own CFA exam test center.” Test center options with confirmed available seating will be presented to candidates when they schedule their exams for February 2023 and onwards. Enrolling in the CFA Program and earning the CFA charter prepares individuals for a variety of career paths in the investment industry.
